ETAP Transmission Load Flow Analysis
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a precise load flow study run in ETAP for my HVMP transmission project. All feeders, transformers, lines and generators are already identified; what is missing is a clean ETAP model and a professional analysis that tells me the exact voltage profile, line/transformer loading and system losses under normal operating conditions.
Scope
• Build or refine the single-line model in ETAP.
• Run balanced load flow simulations for the present operating scenario (and, if time allows, one contingency case).
• Summarise results clearly: bus voltages, power flows, losses and any limit violations.
Deliverables
1. ETAP project files so I can open and edit them myself.
2. A short, well-structured technical note (PDF or Word) that explains assumptions, modelling steps and key findings, with screenshots of the most relevant plots/tables.
Acceptance criteria
• All equipment ratings in the model match the data I will provide.
• Final report highlights any voltage deviations > ±5 % and thermal loadings > 90 %.
• ETAP file runs without errors or missing libraries on version 22 or later.
If you see opportunities to extend the study later—short-circuit duty or reactive power optimisation—feel free to mention it, though for now the only required task is the load flow analysis on this transmission system.
