ETAP Modeling for Large Battery Systems

Job ID: 39119259

Budget: €5,000 – €10,000 EUR

I need an expert to create an ETAP model for two large Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) integrated with photovoltaic systems. The model should cover everything from the battery containers to the Point of Delivery (POD) to the transmission grid.

Key tasks include:
- Load Flow study to evaluate compliance with Annex A.79 set by Terna, the Italian energy transmission entity.
- Short circuit study at the grid connection point (POD).

Details of the BESS plants:
PLANT 1:
- Power: 275MW- 1100.8MWh
- Charge/discharge cycle: 4h
- Withdrawal/injection power: 242MW
- No. PCS: 50 Sungrow SC5500UD-MV
- No. Container: 400 Sungrow ST2752-UX
- Mains voltage: 380kV

PLANT 2:
- Power: 60.48MW- 240.72MWh
- Charge/discharge cycle: 4h
- Withdrawal/injection power: 58MW
- No. PCS: 12 Sungrow MVS5140-LS
- No. Container: 48 Sungrow ST5015UX-4H
- Mains voltage: 150kV

I'm particularly concerned about the analysis of the battery containers within the BESS using ETAP. This will involve examining various parameters of the battery containers, with a specific focus on capacity and charge/discharge cycles, in line with industry standards.

Ideal skills and experience for this job include:
- Proficiency in ETAP software
- Extensive knowledge of battery systems and photovoltaic integration
- Experience with load flow and short circuit studies
- Familiarity with industry standards for battery capacity and charge/discharge cycles.
