Dual Elevator Simscape Prototype

Job ID: 39893132

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m piecing together a working prototype of a 12-floor, twin-car elevator system and need focused help on the electrical-engineering side—specifically control systems, sensor integration, and OPC-UA communication inside a distributed control architecture.

Scope of the prototype
• Model export: Build or refine the SolidWorks assembly, then generate a clean STEP and the required Simscape Multibody .xml export for a full shaft-to-car layout (-1, 0, 1 … 10).
• Simscape / Simulink setup: Drop in basic actuators and position/door sensors, wire them into a Simulink model, and implement a priority-based dispatch algorithm so both cars move independently without collisions.
• OPC-UA link: Expose key tags (calls, car position, door status) via OPC-UA and prove connectivity to a B&R X90 PLC in Automation Studio. A minimal HMI page that shows floor position and door state is enough at this stage.
• Documentation & demo:
– STEP file, .sldasm/.sldprt sources, and Simulink model
– Node list and sample Automation Studio project
– Short test report, screenshots, and a quick run-through video

I’m after a lean but functional proof of concept—no exhaustive refinements yet, just something I can build on for safety and visualization down the road.
