Design of 5G MIMO Antenna Arrays
Budget: $250 – $750 SGD
One important feature of 5G antenna system is their beam-steering capability using multiple radiating elements. By adjusting the phase difference between adjacent radiating elements one can readily steer the array's radiation beam. The objective of this project is to design a few monopole arrays to demonstrate their beam-steering capability. The radiating elements can be fixed and only the phase difference between them is changing adaptively. Both theoretical simulations and experimental measurements are involved in the project. The monopole arrays along with their feeding networks will be fabricated and tested near the end of the project.
