Comprehensive MEP Design for Microdistillery
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m launching a small-scale distillery and need a complete MEP package that lets me move confidently from concept to permitting. I will need sealed drawing by TN licensed Engineer.
Scope
• Mechanical – I need the production floor laid out so every still, fermenter, chiller, and ancillary skid sits where it belongs and breathes properly. Please create a clear equipment layout and design a ventilation system that manages ethanol vapors, heat rejection, and fresh-air requirements in compliance with local fire and building codes.
• Electrical – Develop the power distribution scheme and control-system wiring that will run my stills, pumps, chillers, and safety interlocks. I’ll need single-line diagrams, panel schedules, conduit/cable sizing, and any PLC/I-O drawings that tie the process together. Lighting design is handled elsewhere, so you can stay focused on process loads and controls.
• Plumbing – Size and route all process water, sanitary, and drain lines, including backflow prevention, floor drains, and tie-ins to the cooling loop and boiler feed.
Deliverables
- PDF and native CAD drawings for mechanical equipment layout, ventilation ductwork, and plumbing runs
- Electrical single-line and control wiring diagrams with load calculations
- Ventilation and hydraulic calculations (CFM, static pressure, pipe sizing, flow rates)
- Code and standards list showing how each design element meets NFPA, NEC, ASHRAE, and local requirements
- One revision cycle after my review
