Comprehensive IGBT Electrical Testing Assistance
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I'm in need of expert assistance for testing, or establishing a test set up for IGBTs and MOSFETs. The primary focus of this project is to drive IGBT and MOSFET inverter modules (half bridge) at different power and switching frequencies and monitor key parameters during testing. I would also like to measure temperature on the top of the device (with the top cover open) via an IR camera.
- Required measurements/ key parameters:
Input variables such as voltage, current, switching frequencies, and any other parameters
Temperature via the IR camera and a thermocouple in the coolant line
Coolant flow rate
I currently lack clarity on the equipment and setup required for such testing. Recommendations or guidance on necessary items, such as testing kit, power supply, any other equipment will be greatly appreciated. I can provide the cooling loop and the IR camera if it needs to be setup at our facility.
Ideal candidates will have detailed knowledge in power electronics and for testing IGBT and MOSFET modules. Familiarity with setting up testing environments from scratch is also desirable. Your role will focus on either providing test facilities, or know some place that can do such testing, or providing guidance and advice for setting up the test set up at our facility.
