Build an Altium project schematic, Library, Layout, gerbers
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
Using Altium designer, Design a simple PCB to be able to connect an oscilloscope to a high voltage cables with protections see drawing.
Voltage: Phase to phase RMS voltage is 750VAC at 50 to 70Hz or 1200VDC depending on the device where we will connect. Transient at in the 3kV range, with 1MHz frequency. This is what we want to record. So each trace will need to be spaced accordingly.
Current: The wire we will use is a AWG18, however we can have fuse holder with fuse down to 2A for the track width.
The probe I’m using have only micro-grabber tip, so ideally I would like to connect on some kind of test point, as shown below.
So in the drawing in attachment, the plan was to install the PCB board inside a plastic box, have my cable that are connected on the top. I was thinking of using the following terminal to connect theses cables: Mouser #:651-1740000
all we need is a track that goes from the terminal on one side to the hook terminal on the other. I’m looking to purchase the fuse holders that will be DIN rail mounted in a box that will protect the whole PCB board. The fuse will be 2A 1500VDC.

We are planning to connect the whole system on different sources, with voltage ranging from 750VAC phase-phase RMS with transient up to 3kV and to a DC link in a converter, 1200VDC with unknown transients. So the tracks must be spaced accordingly.
For the neutral connection, my probes have a 10cm long alligator clip for the neutral/ground connection, and I will have 3 probes. So this is why I need to have 3 connections point for hte
Is it possible to have the PCB board DIN Rail mountable? This could ease the installation in the box.
