AutoCAD Lighting & Socket Layout
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
I have a residential project—a full three-bedroom bungalow—and I need clear, construction-ready set-out drawings that show every lighting point, switch, socket, and circuit run. In total you’ll be drafting for between three and five rooms (living areas, bedrooms, kitchen, plus circulation), all on AutoCAD.
I will supply the architectural floor plan in DWG; you’ll overlay the electrical layer, adhere to standard symbols, and include a simple legend and circuit schedule so the contractor can follow it without questions. Final files must be returned in the same DWG version I provide, along with a plotted PDF for quick review.
Please note: 2 drawings in total required.
1) Lighting plan layout including legend
2) Electrical socket layout including legend.
Please make sure:
• Positions are coordinated with furniture layouts so outlets sit at practical heights.
• Lighting groups are labelled and switch lines are clear.
• Socket circuits are balanced and meet typical residential load guidelines.
Drawings are already complete. The most important thing is to add clear set out dims for contractor to build on site & a clear legend.
Send me an early screenshot once you’ve blocked the first room so we can agree on symbol style before you finish the rest. After that, one round of minor tweaks should be enough for sign-off.
