AutoCAD Electrical Designer – Single Line Diagrams (SLD) – 4 Drawings for solar system
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Electrical Designer to prepare four (4) professional single line diagrams (SLDs) for a solar/electrical power system. The diagrams will be used for technical submissions, approvals, and construction, so accuracy and clarity are critical.
Scope of Work
The designer will develop detailed single line diagrams covering the following components:
Main power panels and sub-panels
Battery bank configuration (lithium)
Inverters / charge controllers
Distribution boards (AC & DC)
Solar PV array connections
Protection devices (MCBs, MCCBs, fuses, isolators, SPDs)
Earthing / grounding points
Cable sizing and labeling
Load distribution and interconnections
Metering and monitoring points
Design Requirements
Drawings must be produced strictly in AutoCAD or other design softwares
Use standard electrical symbols (IEC / IEEE preferred)
Clear labeling of all components, ratings, and interconnections
Clean layout suitable for printing on A3 or A2 sheets
Professional title block including:
Project name
Drawing title
Drawing number
Date
Revision number
Inputs Provided
System capacity and equipment list
Deliverables
4 completed AutoCAD DWG files
4 PDF versions ready for submission
1-2 round of minor revisions included
Timeline

Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in AutoCAD electrical drawings or other design softwares.
Strong background in solar PV and power distribution systems
Understanding of battery systems, inverters, and protection devices
Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
Preferred Qualifications
Experience preparing drawings for donor-funded projects, utilities, or government submissions
Familiarity with off-grid or hybrid solar systems
