AutoCAD Electrical Design for Industrial Control Panel, Motor Control Centre & Drawing Modification Work
Budget: $10 – $50 AUD
I'm seeking an ongoing relationship with Experienced AutoCAD Electrical professional with a competitive hourly rate to design control panels, MCC's, ICA's for industrial automation and to modify AutoCAD Electrical Drawings for existing site modification work. The design should incorporate specific components and adhere to my chosen specifications and defined requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a detailed AutoCAD Electrical design for an electrical control panels / Motor Control Centres - this includes motor protection, motor control, PLC control and systems integration skills.
- Modify AutoCAD Electrical Drawings design for existing electrical control panels / Motor Control Centres.
- The designer should be fluent in English and be able to read and understand specifications, and communicate as a control panel / MCC designer on a professional level.
- The designer should have an appreciation of requirements of IEC 61439 or country specific localised variants. [Guidance Provided by Lead]
- The designer will utilise as far as possible provided examples and standard drawings, provided AutoCAD electrical symbols, pinlists, template projects and borders (these will be provided as a base). The designer will need to understand how to configure AutoCAD Electrical for these. [Guidance Provided by Lead]
-The designer will create a limited amount of symbols with pinlists.
- The designer will require understanding of relay logic, motor protection, type 2 coordination, discrimination, form 4 and form 2 designs. [Guidance Provided by Lead]
- The designer should have an appreciation of intelligent / network type designs - Industrial Ethernet [Ethernet IP , Modbus TCP/IP], Profibus DP, Serial Modbus RS232/485. [Guidance Provided by Lead]
- The designer will be required to create 2D General Arrangements and layout drawings for MCC / control panel manufacture including backplate/ door / access punching (multi layer). Standard bocks will be provided. Experience creating 3D drawings would be beneficial.
- The designer will be required to ensure consistency across drawings such as drawing on snap, ensuring a standard is created before duplication so an drawing is drawn the same no matter how many times duplicated, ensure viewports are consistently in the same position for consistency across views when the PDF is created.
Ideal Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical with extensive experience in electrical control panel design.
- Knowledgeable in industrial automation systems.
- Familiar with Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Siemens, ABB, Omron, Weidmuller, Socomec - PLC and Control Components.
