Interactive Gas Turbine Maintenance Course

I want to turn our in-house gas-turbine know-how into an engaging, self-paced online course built entirely around interactive modules. Your job is to design and develop those modules so learners don’t just watch—they experiment.

The core of each lesson must be simulation driven. Trainees should be able to click through virtual engine bays, strip components, reassemble them, and see immediate feedback on what went right or wrong. Drag-and-drop activities will reinforce part identification, torque-sequence orders, and seal placement. I also need decision-based scenarios that ask, “Would you proceed with this clearance reading?” or “Which risk mitigation step comes next?” and then show the consequences. At any point learners must be able to pull up technical drawings, spec sheets, or maintenance limits for reference without leaving the flow.

Content focus
• Routine and major maintenance procedures
• Full disassembly/assembly walkthroughs with attention to key risks (alignment errors, FOD, hot-section handling, etc.)

Technical requirements
• Author in a mainstream tool such as Articulate Storyline 360, Captivate, or a responsive HTML5 framework compatible with desktop and tablet.
• Output as a SCORM-compliant package ready for our LMS.
• All visuals, interactives, and source files handed over on approval.

Acceptance criteria
1. At least three high-fidelity simulation units demonstrating disassembly, inspection, and reassembly.
2. Two decision-tree scenarios with branching feedback and replay option.
3. Drag-and-drop tasks covering component mapping and risk identification.
4. Built-in technical library panel reachable from any screen.
5. Final SCORM 1.2/2004 file passes upload and tracking tests on our staging LMS.
