1. check cluster health and if red make it green or yellow. If cluster is in red status it might be many scenerio
2. snapshot of elasticsearch
3. check elasticsearch version
4. while doing upgarde disable shards is neccessary or not
After upgarde
1. check elasticsearch cluster health if green and all shards are assigned properly. if red/yellow then what neccessary things required to change cluster status as green.
2. check elasticsearch version
3. enable shards allocation
4. restore snapshot of elasticsearch data
5. master not discover issue and any data loss should not come
