Elastic search to athena connector

I have an elastic search cluster in public network.
I have to export the data to s3 bucket in the source region.i have tried using glue but I dont know it fails for some reason.
I want to use athena for this purpose.
Like using elastic search to athena connector to get access to ES data and query it and Export it to S3.
I want this implemented in my test environment asap.
