We are looking for a communicative Virtual Tutor who has experience teaching students.

Job Overview:

The Virtual Tutor will be responsible for teaching, preparing and organising lessons for grade levels Kindergarten through University Seniors and tracking students’ performance.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s or College degree in Education or relevant field;
-At least 3 years experience in tutoring;
-Experience using Zoom (screen sharing, whiteboard, virtual background, and remote keyboard and mouse control);
-Thorough knowledge of all subjects including Pre-Advanced Placement and Advanced Placement courses;
-Strong communication and presentation skills;
-Experience working with special needs such as Autism, ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia;
-Knowledge in foreign languages;
-Fluent in English

Additional requirements:

-Must have strong internet connection;
-Able to pass the background check;
-Able to provide documents of certifications upon request;
-Must be able to record tutoring sessions;
-Friendly nature with strong patience and compassion for children;
-Highly organized and time management skills;
-Certification in ESL is a plus
-Has necessary equipment and internet connection as this is a virtual position
-Has a private space to hold sessions without disturbance

Responsibilities and Duties:
-Plan and deliver lessons on-line in a friendly, engaging and considerate manner;
-Prepare and deliver lessons for all subjects including Pre-AP and Ap courses. (AP - Advanced Placement);
-Develop educational content such as quizzes, exams;
-Track and report students’ progress;
-Prepare students for tests such as SAT, ACT, ASVAB, GED, SSAT, and ISEE;
-Assign students with homework assignments, projects, research papers etc.;
-Invest in the well being, health, and safety of its students;
-Collaborate effectively with parents for all student’s matters;
