Teach Me MATLAB Basics, 5 Chapters
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I’m taking my very first university subject in MATLAB and have five chapters that all focus on basic programming concepts. To feel confident before assessments, I’d like each chapter broken down into a clear, step-by-step tutorial that I can follow at my own pace.
Scope of work
• For every chapter, prepare a concise outline of the topics, then walk me through them in sequence—explaining syntax, structure, good coding style, and common pitfalls.
• Demonstrate the code live (or via recorded screen share) while I watch, so I can see how each line executes in the Command Window and Editor.
• Provide the finished .m files and any slides/notes you use so I can review later.
• Include a few short practice tasks per chapter with the expected output, so I can test myself immediately.
• Be available on chat or a quick call after each session to clear up any errors I run into when I repeat the exercise on my own.
Acceptance criteria
1. All five chapters delivered as annotated scripts plus written explanations.
2. Tutorials follow a logical, progressive flow and are easy to re-create in MATLAB R2023a or later.
3. Practice tasks run without syntax errors and produce the stated result.
4. Questions I raise during the learning sessions are resolved with practical examples.
If we move smoothly through the basics, there may be room to touch on data types or simple algorithms afterward, but the primary goal is mastering these first five chapters. I’m ready to start right away and will schedule sessions when it suits us both.
