OSSD Completion Guidance for Art Student

Job ID: 40508584

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I’m mentoring a high-schooler who is aiming to finish the Ontario Secondary School Diploma and, ideally, bump every course up from a Level 4- to a solid Level 4+. I’d like someone who has steered a student through the whole OSSD journey—credits, compulsory/elective mix, OSSLT, community-involvement hours, SHSM/PLAR possibilities, even e-learning—to map out a clear, step-by-step plan.

The student’s long-term goal is an Arts-focused post-secondary program, so any insight on weaving visual arts, music, drama or other creative courses into the timetable (and keeping the marks at that 4+ level) is extra valuable. Subject-specific coaching is welcome, but what I really need first is the overarching strategy: which courses to pick next, when to schedule them, how to stay on track for graduation, and which resources or supports in Ontario actually make a difference.

Deliverable:
• A concise written roadmap (or editable spreadsheet) that lists the remaining credits, upgrade strategies to reach Level 4+, milestone dates, recommended resources/tutors, and admission tips for arts programs.

If you’ve done this before and can back it up with proven advice, I’m all ears—let’s make this student’s OSSD and art-school dreams happen.
