Math and Science tutor for 8th Standard student
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I have a daughter who attends Florida Global Virtual School - www.flvs.net.
Required hours are 7-10 hours per week via Zoom or Google Meets.
Each of her other tutors are currently receiving a net amount of approx $4.25 per hour.
I am looking for a virtual tutor (preferably from India) to strengthen her fundamentals, assist her with her curriculum, help her navigate forward in areas that she finds challenging and gets stuck in.
Her spoken language is US-English
Here are a few suggested pre-requisites that will make you successful in this project:
1) You have good knowledge of Math/Science for that level
2-A) Be able to communicate effectively in US english and have the patience to coach a 8th Standard student.
2-B) Follow a "7 second silence" rule after asking the student a question and give student time to process.
3) Have simple tools that are needed to keep your sessions engaging and be comfortable using them effectively. One recommendation is, be comfortable using a digital pen/stylus to present what your are writing/drawing directly on to the computer screen.
4) Be available to take classes after 8pm Indian Standard Time or sometimes between 5:30am - 8am IST for make up classes.
