Looking for Credentialed Contract Remote Faculty
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Looking for 3 Credentialed Remote Faculty for Postsecondary Online Seminary- We will need copies of Transcripts to Verify Eligibility- Faculty will be Paid per Student as they enroll
Subject Area: Seminary Education
Preferred Level of Teaching Experience: Less than 5 years: Graduate degrees in:
a.) Biblical Theology, Biblical Studies, Theology, or related.
b.) Archaeology/Anthropology, related.
c.) History.
Course Delivery Format: Asynchronous online
Skills and Experience:
- Must have a valid and verifiable Master degree or higher in the field of education (ex: Master in archaeology, Master in Theology or Bible Studies, Master in History).
- Experience teaching is NOT required. We are still setting up the curriculum and will be accepting students within a month. We will need qualified candidates to serve as faculty on an as needed basis. Faculty will only need to grade exams and papers per student and possibly assist with course content.
- Strong knowledge in the subject area of education
- Familiarity with learning management systems and online teaching tools (Google Classroom)
- Communication Skills
- Ability to provide timely feedback to students on exams and papers.
- you can grade the exams and papers at your own schedule so long as they are graded within 2 business days after students submit them.
Project Details:
We are seeking credentialed contract remote faculty to assist our new seminary. We are a non-profit operating solely off of donations so we can only pay as each student enrolls and completes exams and papers. We create our own content but will provide payment to teachers where we need a course curriculum reviewed and notes added for us to improve the content if needed. They may add any suggestions but we are creating the course content in house.
This is something where we will pay as students enroll and complete the work. You can use us as a reference and teaching experience.
We are seeking accreditation and program fees will increase accordingly allowing us to pay faculty more for their tasks.
Until then we will pay out $50 per student for grading up to 2,500 words of essay question responses. (2-3 hours per student max). Grading does not need to be meticulously performed.
If a thesis or dissertation needs graded, the pay out will increase based on length.
Responsibilities:
- Assess student performance, provide grades and feedback for exams and papers. A quick grade and feedback note will be sufficient.
- Review our course content and provide notes of improvement so we can enhance the course materials where needed.
We are mainly looking for credentialed individuals located in developing countries, particularly Ethiopia but candidates from other developing nations will be considered with preference as well.
*Each faculty will be the head of their department within the seminary. All students’ grading and course review will be performed only by them.
* If a candidate only has a Bachelor degree in one of the fields listed listed above, they may reach out as well. If we can’t find a graduate degree holder you may be eligible.
