About Us
We are an innovative microschool in Argentina, providing personalized education to advanced and gifted children ages 6 to 8. Inspired by Alpha School (Austin, TX), we combine self-paced learning, educational AI, and play-based methods.
What We Need
We are looking for a freelance professional with proven experience (official certification not required) in:
- Khan Academy (teacher version)
- Khanmigo (AI assistant)
- Curriculum design and classroom implementation that allow students to advance in their own terms like you can note in Alpha School Austin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0UaFZYntwc
The goal is to develop a full 2-hour-per-day curriculum using only Khan Academy and Khanmigo resources, in English for students aged 6–8.
Responsibilities
- Design a weekly/monthly curriculum inspired by Alpha School's 2-hour learning model
- Select and organize Khan Academy content by level and subject
- Integrate Khanmigo as a learning coach
- Create guides for teachers and students
Requirements
- Previous experience with Khan Academy (certification optional)
- Familiarity with Khanmigo
- Understanding of alternative education models
- Advanced Spanish and English reading skills
- Creative, autonomous, and reliable
Nice to Have
- Experience in homeschooling, unschooling, or microschools
- Familiarity with ClassDojo, Notion, Learnlife, or Synthesis
