Group SAT Reading Tutor
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
A small cohort of motivated test-takers is gearing up for the next SAT and has asked me to coordinate targeted instruction on the Reading section only. The goal is to sharpen our skills in three areas: reading comprehension, vocabulary in context, and the analysis of historical as well as scientific passages. All work will be delivered in a group format, so techniques that keep several students engaged at once are essential.
What the assignment looks like:
• Design a short series of group sessions (remote or local venue—flexible) that break down proven SAT Reading strategies.
• Supply fresh practice passages and timed drills that mirror College Board difficulty.
• Provide concise feedback after each meeting with actionable next-steps for the whole group and, when possible, quick notes on individual performance.
If you regularly help students hit—or exceed—their Reading score targets and have a clear, energetic teaching style that works well in groups, this collaboration should be a perfect fit.
