Coach New Middle School Teacher
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
A novice teacher has just joined my staff and will soon be standing in front of a middle-school class for the first time. I want to give this new educator a solid foundation by pairing them with an experienced mentor who can walk them through every stage of the teaching cycle—managing a room full of adolescents, shaping engaging units, and designing fair, meaningful assessments.
Here’s the support I need from you:
• Build a clear coaching roadmap that targets classroom management techniques, curriculum development steps, and assessment methods appropriate for grades 6-8.
• Meet with the teacher online (video preferred) for focused, practical sessions—model strategies, observe a recorded practice lesson, and provide actionable feedback.
• Supply adaptable templates, sample lesson plans, and assessment rubrics the teacher can customize immediately.
• Track progress with brief reflection notes after each meeting so both mentor and mentee can see growth over time.
Acceptance criteria
• Coaching plan delivered in the first week, structured by week or milestone.
• Minimum of four live mentoring sessions completed and documented.
• Resource pack contains at least two ready-to-use lesson plans, one management checklist, and three different assessment tools.
If you have a proven record of guiding brand-new teachers and are comfortable working virtually, I’m ready to start right away.
