Arabic tutor Beginner Arabic & Tajweed Lessons
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
An adult beginner, I am setting out to build a solid foundation in reading and writing Arabic while simultaneously learning the correct rules of Tajweed so I can recite the Qur an accurately from the very start. Each session should balance literacy skills—recognising letters, vowel marks, basic grammar—with focused, practical application of Tajweed on short verses.
Live, interactive lessons suit me best. Screen-sharing, a virtual whiteboard, and clear audio for pronunciation drills will make practice smoother; Zoom or any similar platform is fine. Written exercises, short revision clips, and regular feedback between classes will keep the momentum going and let me track my progress.
The engagement begins with an assessment of my current alphabet knowledge (almost none), then moves through structured modules that leave me confidently decoding simple texts before advancing to longer passages. By the end of our agreed schedule I want to:
• read un-vowelled words without hesitation,
• apply core Tajweed rules such as ikhfa, idgham, qalqalah, and madd,
• recite selected short surahs fluently.
