Global STEM Higher-Ed Research Team
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I am assembling an international team of active lecturers, teachers, and professors to investigate current STEM teaching & learning practices at the higher-education level. Colleagues located in Sri Lanka, the Maldives, South Africa, Singapore, or the UAE are especially encouraged to take part, though passionate educators from elsewhere are also welcome.
The collaboration centres on a comparative research study of curriculum design, student engagement, and assessment strategies across universities. We will co-create the research framework, share classroom data, and jointly interpret results with the goal of producing a publishable paper and conference presentation.
To keep the project manageable we will meet online (Removed by Freelancer.com Admin) once a week, store materials in a shared Google Drive, and use common tools such as Excel, R/SPSS, or Python for analysis—feel free to bring whichever platform you are most comfortable with.
Expected contributions
• Help refine the research questions and methodology
• Provide anonymised classroom or program data from your institution (subject to ethics approval)
• Participate in collaborative data analysis sessions
• Co-author the final manuscript and presentation deck
The project will run over three months with clear milestones: study design, data collection, analysis, and drafting. As long as you can commit a few hours each week and meet agreed deadlines, your schedule remains flexible. Published authorship will be shared equitably among all collaborators. I’m keen to start our first kickoff call next week—please tell me about your current role, STEM discipline, and any prior research experience when you respond.
