Canvas LMS Specialist for Education System
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 CAD
We are looking for an experienced Canvas (Instructure) LMS specialist to configure and deploy a learning management system for an education organization. The scope involves standard configuration only (no custom development) and must be completed within a 2-week timeline.
Key requirements include course setup for both synchronous and asynchronous delivery, assessment configuration (assignments, quizzes, exams with question banks and randomization), attendance tracking (manual and activity-based), grading workflows, and reporting. Integration with proctoring/identity verification tools and plagiarism detection solutions is required. We also require location authentication (Canada-based access), activity logs, and student/instructor dashboards with communication features.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience implementing Canvas with third-party integrations (proctoring, video, analytics, etc.), provide best-practice recommendations, and deliver documentation and basic training.
