Australian Education & Culture Consultant (Remote Research Role)
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are building a series of learning modules for international students and need a consultant based in Australia (or with deep, current expertise in Australian culture) to help us ensure our content is accurate, engaging, and culturally relevant.
This is a research and content advisory role. You will review materials and provide insights to help us perfectly tailor our content for an Australian context.
Your tasks will include:
Researching and summarizing key aspects of Australian culture, education systems, and daily life.
Reviewing draft learning modules and flagging any content that may be unclear or irrelevant to an Australian audience.
Suggesting local examples, slang, or references to make the content more relatable (e.g., referencing Vegemite, AFL, or popular Aussie holidays).
Ensuring all information about cities, institutions, or laws is up-to-date and accurate.
Ideal Candidate
You are currently living in Australia OR have recent, deep experience with Australian culture and norms.
You have a background in education, writing, research, or communication.
You have strong attention to detail and enjoy fact-checking.
You are a clear and proactive communicator.
This is an open project – no highly specialized experience is required!
