Football-English Project — Brochure Cover Refinement

I am an independent first-time author and English language professional developing a football-themed English communication project called English4Footballers.

I am looking for a designer to help refine the visual identity and brochure cover, with the potential for future adaptation into book covers and supporting materials.

The project combines:

* football culture
* realistic football communication
* narrative football scenarios
* football-English learning
* cinematic football atmosphere

Visual Direction

The overall aesthetic should feel:

* cinematic
* restrained
* football-authentic
* modern but not corporate
* atmospheric rather than flashy

Closer to:

* football documentary style
* editorial/magazine design
* reflective football photography
* stadium atmosphere
* subtle typography
* understated sports publishing

NOT:

* esports graphics
* loud sports branding
* NBA/basketball-style visuals
* aggressive “elite academy” aesthetics
* generic Canva templates

What I Need (Initial Stage)

* brochure cover refinement
* stronger visual consistency
* typography/layout improvements
* a design direction that could later evolve into book covers

The written structure, content hierarchy, and football identity already exist. This is primarily a visual refinement project rather than a complete redesign from scratch.

Ideal Freelancer

Experience in:

* editorial design
* book covers
* magazine layouts
* minimalist branding
* football/sports culture aesthetics

Most important:
good visual judgement, atmosphere, restraint, and typography consistency.

Budget

Initial budget: approximately £100–150 GBP.

I would prefer to begin with a smaller, clearly defined collaboration before considering any larger future development work.

I understand revisions need reasonable limits, but I would value someone open to a collaborative refinement process to help achieve the right atmosphere and identity for the project.

Thank You.
