I have a collection of native-spoken Tamil audio files that I need rendered into clear Thanglish—Tamil words typed in the English alphabet. The job is pure translation of speech to text; no additional localization or rewriting is required beyond staying faithful to the original meaning while preserving a natural, conversational flow.
All source material will be supplied as standard downloadable audio (the recordings themselves are entirely in Tamil). For each file, I want a clean digital text file—Word or Google Doc is fine—containing the full dialogue in Thanglish. Accuracy in capturing nuances, pauses, and colloquial expressions is important, but there’s no need to produce a formal literary style; keep it true to how people actually talk.
Deliverables
• One Thanglish transcript per audio file, clearly labeled
• Original time stamps dropped in only where the audio shifts topic or speaker (simple, not full-scale subtitling)
• Final set returned to me ready for quick copy-paste into my content system
