cover letter

I need a standard cover letter for academic jobs (lecturer, assistant professor positions) for an ABD doctoral student. My field is English Language and Literature with a concentration on Composition, Rhetoric, and Applied Linguistics. I need to be able to adapt the cover letter for the position that I am applying.
