Wikipedia Page editing and publishing
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Our Wikipedia page needs a comprehensive update. The ideal freelancer will have experience with Wikipedia editing and publishing, and a strong understanding of how to improve the credibility of a page.
Key tasks include:
- Removing red flags and ensuring they don't return
- Editing existing text
- Incorporating new text and ensuring it's of the correct tone
- Evaluating new links for usability
- Adding new sources and modifying current ones
- Updating images and logos
We're looking for someone who can make both minor edits and significant rewrites to links, text, and images. A mix of academic publications, news articles, and official reports will be considered for new sources.
Skills and experience required:
- Proven Wikipedia editing experience
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Ability to source and evaluate credible references
- Familiarity with replacing images/logos on Wikipedia pages
- Understanding of Wikipedia's guidelines and policies
