Wikipedia Edit Reviewal and Approval

Dear Whomever it concerns,
I have re-vamped an article of my company on Wikipedia and have included references and all required details to raise an edit request as there was a template placed on the article which mentions that it requires credible references as well as to include more information regarding the company.
Once I have raised the edit request, I have received comments that I may not raise the edit request as I have a conflict of interest without even getting the edit request reviewed for it's contents as well as the credible references that the article was built up from.
I'm looking for a person to review the content of the article and approve the minor changes required for Wikipedia's approval.
