Translate Spanish Scans to English
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a set of more than fifty scanned image files, all in Spanish and fully typed, that now need to live in English. Because the originals are images rather than searchable PDFs, the first step is reliable OCR; after that, I need a polished, human-quality translation that retains every heading, table, and footnote exactly where it belongs.
Feel free to run ABBYY, Adobe, or any CAT tool you trust for consistency, yet the final prose must read naturally—this is not a raw machine-translation job. Technical terminology is sparse, so the main challenge is volume and faithfulness to the source. Accuracy outweighs speed, though a reasonable turnaround is still important.
