Translate Family Toddler Book
Budget: $250 – $750 NZD
I have written an illustrated children’s book for very young readers (ages 0-3) built around warm, family-centric moments. I now need the full manuscript translated from English into clear, neutral Spanish that will sound natural in any Spanish-speaking market.
Scope
• Translate ±500–800 words of simple, rhythmic text, preserving the gentle tone and read-aloud cadence toddlers enjoy.
• Keep all character names and on-page sound effects exactly as they appear.
• Flag any idioms that may not carry over smoothly; suggest child-friendly alternatives where needed.
• Return the final text in two formats: a clean Spanish manuscript (Word/Google Doc) and a copy with English lines side-by-side for easy reference.
Quality expectations
• Vocabulary must be age-appropriate, avoiding regionalisms so the story feels universal across Spain and Latin America.
• Consistent use of tú/tu forms and familiar family terms (mamá, papá, abuela, etc.).
• No machine translation—please rely on human expertise.
