Text Spacing & Margin Adjustment

I need assistance with break spaces and margins in my text. The project involves adjusting the spacing between paragraphs in my content. We have a book we are uploading to kdp . As soon as it is uploaded everything shifts making paragraphs cut off or start in the middle of a page,etc. I am assuming it has to do with break spaces or margins but i have tried everything. If more examples are needed before taking this task feel free to ask for more.
