Step Finance displays all user tokens, Liquidity Positions, NFTs, yield farms in an easy to use Dashboard, this is our core product. Step also has a number of other transaction execution products (Swaps, Yield Farms) to help make DeFi users lives easier. Step is a critical piece of the DeFi world and one of the largest projects on the Solana blockchain.
Background: DeFi is a term used to describe 'Decentralised Finance' applications. These applications do many things- lending, exchanges, NFTs and other complex financial products. Unlike banks who are 'centralised' (they control your money), in DeFi you still retain ownership of your money while it is doing these various things.
Objective of the video project
The DeFi world is a complex space but growing rapidly, up 300x in market size since a year ago. Users often do not understand these products, how they work, the concepts behind them and what they can do with their money. As a dashboard, Step is an ideal gateway in for new people to this world, we try and keep things as user friendly (but targeted to our audience) as possible.
We are looking for a series of 3 (maybe more) education videos touching on concepts in DeFi aswell as how Step helps people to do that. These concepts might be "what is DeFi?" or "how do Swaps work?" or "what is a Yield Farm?" etc. Mainly focused on teaching the concept rather than product shots as our product is rapidly changing its appearance etc.
Suggested script key points
1st video: What is DeFi? We can talk about how you keep control of your money in DeFi vs centralised alternatives. Then we can talk about DeFi Apps (dapps) like lending, swaps, NFTs etc. Then we mention how Step does this.
We want to eventually build a webpage incorporating these videos like https://www.kraken.com/en-us/learn/ which teaches specific parts of how crypto works.
