Scientific Paper Translation Needed
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have a set of scientific papers that must be translated with complete fidelity to the original meaning, tone, and formatting. Because the material is technical, the wording is dense with domain-specific terms, citations, formulas, and tables that all need to remain intact and unambiguous after translation.
You will receive the source files in their native layout (mostly Word and PDF). The finished work should be returned in the same formats, ready for submission to peer-reviewed journals—no re-layout required on my side. Accuracy is paramount; literal word-for-word renditions that ignore discipline-specific style guidelines will not meet the brief.
Acceptance criteria:
• Every scientific term, unit, and figure label matches standard usage in the target language.
• All references, equations, and headings replicate the original structure exactly.
• Final files pass my in-house proofread without need for further edits.
Please include a short note on your experience translating scientific or technical material and indicate any specialized software (e.g., SDL Trados, memoQ, LaTeX) you prefer so I can provide compatible files if needed.
