Sci-Fi Novel Requires Expert Copy Editor

We are looking for an experienced copy editor to help polish a science fiction novel manuscript. The right person will have lengthy expertise in determining what works (and what doesn't work) with a science fiction story, a love of all things science fiction, and a diligent eye for detail. The work itself will require expertise in delivering clarity, coherence, and grammatical precision while preserving the author's unique voice and sense of style. The editor should also be able to analyze narrative structure, assess character development, and provide constructive criticism. The hired editor will make annotations for changes, tighten prose and offer suggestions to help improve the work's overall quality and readability. Editor candidates should have a full working knowledge of editing conventions, grammar, and the ability to provide constructive feedback tactfully. Please include a portfolio of prior edits, references of previous satisfied clients, and any experience with full-length edits whenever possible.
