Refine Academic UK Client Report
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
You’ll be helping me polish a 2,500-word client-style financial-planning report that I have drafted for a university module. The core of the task is editorial and technical rather than authorial: the analysis is already written, but the structure, tax accuracy and advisory tone all need to meet professional standards and the assignment’s marking rubric.
What I need from you
• Re-structure the report so that recommendations flow logically and mirror best-practice layout used by UK advisers.
• Check—and where necessary correct—the application of Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax rules, citing current allowances, taper reliefs and relevant planning opportunities.
• Tighten language so the document reads with the clarity, authority and objectivity expected of a chartered financial planner.
• Cross-reference every section to the stated learning outcomes so examiners can see the alignment immediately.
Resources I’ll supply
• My full draft.
• Two anonymised exemplar reports that illustrate the preferred style, section order and level of technical depth.
• The assessment brief detailing word limits, formatting and grading criteria.
Deliverables
1. A marked-up version showing all structural moves, tax corrections and wording improvements (Track Changes or Google Docs suggestion mode).
2. A clean, submission-ready version capped at 2,500 words.
3. A brief commentary (bullet points are fine) summarizing why key technical or structural changes were made so I can justify them in any reflective statement.
Acceptance criteria
• No residual factual errors in tax figures or treatment.
• Clear segmentation: client objectives, current position, analysis, recommendations, implementation schedule.
• Tone remains advisory, not sales-driven, and is referenced back to the module’s criteria.
There is no real client, no product pitching and no expectation of original authorship on your part—this is academic editing support only and will be used solely for learning purposes.
