Recommendation letter for a scientist/researcher to apply for permanent residence
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am a scientist in Biology field (genomics and neurodevelopmental disorders). I need to write five different recommendation letters to apply for National Interest Waiver (permanent residency in the USA) for five different experts. These letters should look like they are written by different people. The letters should also have scientific content since they describe the national importance of the work I do. I can provide scientific articles I have published.
The letters should show my accomplishments in the field of research and
explain why I could be considered exceptional in the research field. Please note that this
should not be personal recommendation (i.e. character, work habits, etc.), but rather a
professional recommendation specifically addressing the applicant’s achievements and
contributions to the field. The letter should generally include the following:
1. A brief introduction of who you are, and why you would be considered an expert in this
field; (if you have not collaborated with the applicant please confirm)
2. A brief description of the applicant’s area of expertise
3. What you consider to be the applicant’s most important original contributions to the field
and why these contributions are of substantial merit and national importance
4. A description of any impact the applicant’s work has had on your work specifically and
on the field in general
5. Why you consider that the applicant stands out in the field and why the applicant is well positioned to advance the field.
6. Any evidence you are aware of to support your recommendation (service as reviewer,
influential journal publications, books, select societal memberships, service as session
chair, material published about the applicant’s work, etc.)
