Passover Children’s Story: Edit & Illustrate
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’ve written a very short picture-book manuscript for preschoolers (ages 3–5) that revolves around a caring teacher, principal, and bus driver who help a little girl track down her missing “matzah sandwich” on Passover. The piece is light, warm, and rooted in Jewish tradition, with the main goal of showing kindness and community rather than delving into deep ritual detail.
Here’s what I need: the text polished for flow, rhythm, and age-appropriate vocabulary, followed by a set of cartoonish, playful illustrations that capture the gentle humor of the search and the sweetness of the holiday. Think bright colours, expressive characters, and simple backgrounds that keep the focus on the action.
Because I’m retired and working on a modest budget, I’m looking for someone who can handle both tasks efficiently or a small team that communicates well with each other to avoid duplicate effort. • A low-res PDF proof so I can share with family before printing.
