Part-time Proposal Writer (AEC Proposals & RFPs)

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to support our growing construction consulting firm, Mindful Integration of Construction Services (MICS).

This role will focus on RFP responses, proposals, capability statements, and compliance-driven narratives for public agency and infrastructure projects (AEC industry).

Scope of Work

Write and edit RFP / RFQ responses (executive summaries, technical approaches, compliance sections)

Develop capability statements and proposal boilerplate content

Support proposal coordination (organizing content, formatting, deadlines)

Translate technical input into clear, persuasive proposal language

Ensure alignment with client requirements, evaluation criteria, and brand voice

Ideal Experience

Proven experience writing AEC, construction, engineering, or public-sector proposals

Familiarity with government agencies (Caltrans, DOTs, municipalities, utilities preferred)

Strong understanding of compliance-based writing

Excellent English writing, editing, and formatting skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Bonus: Experience supporting U.S.-based firms
