Russian Language Editor for Training Materials

We are looking for an experienced Russian Language Editor to review and improve Russian-language training materials in the field of occupational health and safety.

Scope of Work
Review training materials translated into Russian
Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation and style
Ensure that the language is natural, professional and fluent
Compare the Russian translation with the English or Turkish source text
Correct mistranslations, omissions and changes in meaning
Ensure consistent use of occupational health and safety terminology
Review presentation slides, assessment questions, feedback messages and e-learning content
Keep the revised text as close as possible to the original length and layout
Required Qualifications
Native-level proficiency in Russian
Proven experience in Russian editing, proofreading or translation review
Sufficient English and/or Turkish proficiency to compare source and target texts
Experience with training materials or e-learning content
Experience in occupational health and safety, fire safety or other technical fields is preferred
Strong attention to detail and terminology consistency
Ability to edit Microsoft PowerPoint and Word documents
Ability to meet agreed deadlines
Expected Quality Standard

This role requires more than basic proofreading. The materials should read as though they were originally written in Russian by a professional working in the occupational health and safety field.

Literal or word-for-word translations should be avoided. The final text must preserve the original meaning while sounding natural, technically accurate and appropriate for Russian-speaking professionals.
