Need Editing and Formatting for our Kindle and paperback book

I am looking for a talented freelancer to edit and format my book for Kindle and paperback.
The book is ca compilation of fun and random facts for kids... It is not very long ( 61 pages ) but there are 1,232 individual facts in it. Each fact is around 1 to 2 sentences long.
The book will be black and white so I would like the format and delivery of the facts to be pleasing and stimulating to the eye. The facts are divided into 31 chapters with each their subject.
We want page count, clickable links in the e-book version, table of content but most importantly, since our book is for kids and will be in black and white, we need a talented freelancer that will be able to make the layout of the pages interesting for kids to read. Our target group for that book is 8-15 so we do not want anything too childish-looking either as the tweens would not appreciate it.
I have a different illustration that we would want to be placed on top of each chapter and then for each fact, we were thinking that changing the font of some of them in each chapter would make the reading more enjoyable and less dry. As well as maybe inserting 2-3 small graphics (like a microphone) on each page and having a fact placed in them to make the page more "alive". I have added that microphone file to this post so you can have a look and see if you can work with it and place 2-3 per page with a fact inside each of them or not.
All the other facts on the pages could be simply placed in a tiny box or frame but we have not found anything on our hand yet that could be used for it. We would rely on our freelancer to propose a concept to us. I have attached a screenshot of another fact book for kids that has found a nice style of box to put their facts into and we would like something in the same style but not in color.
We clearly need a freelancer who not only can edit and format our book but also has a bit of creativity and knowledge in basic graphic design and an eye for aesthetics.
