Native Dutch Technical Editor
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I have a steady flow of Dutch-language technical material that must read as if it were written and double-checked by an experienced native speaker. The files land on my desk in varying shapes—sometimes a short web article, sometimes an in-depth white paper, occasionally draft book chapters—but the task is always the same: refine the Dutch, catch every grammatical or stylistic slip, and ensure the terminology remains crystal-clear for a professional audience.
Accuracy takes priority over speed, yet I still need a turnaround that keeps projects moving. You’ll be polishing vocabulary, syntax, punctuation, and layout nuances while safeguarding the original meaning. If a sentence sounds even slightly non-native, rewrite it. If a technical term feels off, highlight it and, where possible, propose the correct alternative.
For each file I deliver, I expect back:
• A clean, publication-ready version in Dutch
• A tracked-changes version so I can follow the edits
Because consistency matters, I plan to build an ongoing relationship with a single editor. Only native Dutch professionals with demonstrable technical editing experience should apply—anything less will slow us both down. If that sounds like you, let’s talk today.
