Linux Patch Report
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m sharing an internal report that documents our latest Linux server patching cycle. Right now it holds only an Introduction & Summary followed by the Procedure & Steps. I need a fresh set of eyes to:
• Review the wording for clarity and professionalism so it reads well for both the IT team and upper management.
• Recommend structural tweaks that improve flow and highlight key takeaways.
• Identify and add any missing sections that would make the report feel complete—think items such as Issues & Resolutions, Risk Mitigation, or a concise Executive Summary if you feel they add value.
• Return two files: one with tracked changes/comments, and one clean, ready-to-share version in the original format (Word or Google Docs).
Keep the technical accuracy intact while ensuring management can grasp the high-level impact without diving into low-level commands. A short rationale beside each added or reorganised section is appreciated so I understand your choices.
