Infant Animal Adventure Storybook

I’m creating a colourful, read-aloud adventure for babies and toddlers aged 0-3 and need a writer who can capture little ears from the very first page. The story will follow a handful of specific animals that I’ll share with you once we connect, so the text must weave each creature naturally into a gentle, playful journey.

Because this is for the board-book age range, the language should be simple, rhythmic, and repetitive enough for budding talkers, with plenty of onomatopoeia and sensory cues. Think short sentences, vivid action verbs, and a soothing cadence suitable for bedtime or cuddle time.

Deliverables
• A complete manuscript of roughly 120–200 words, spread across 8–10 story spreads
• A one-sentence hook and a brief synopsis (back-cover style)
• Character notes for each featured animal (1–2 lines each) to guide the illustrator

Once the draft is finished, I’ll review and send any light adjustments. Two rounds of revisions should be included so we can fine-tune flow, rhythm, and age-appropriate vocabulary.
