" Eagle's End" tells how four generations of a family live through the tumultuous Gothic Migration Period when Rome fell in the West and the foundations of Europe were laid.
Over fifteen years I've written more than eight thousand pages. The more I write the more I imagine, so the story is almost growing quicker than I can keep up, with added time to go back through all I've already written. Before I can actually start publishing I need help organizing, ordering, and in some cases ( particularly with some of the older stuff ) just pruning through all of those eight thousand pages, while I continue on writing the new stuff or also editing.
I need someone who enjoys what I'm writing because they're going to have a lot of reading to do.
Obviously, it'll be essential to distill the best essence of all the old text while eschewing what won't work. I started writing on this in journals when I was eight and made my oldest google document at eleven so there'll definitely be large parts that need this treatment.
But more particularly I am looking for people with an eye for historical authenticity, especially to this time period. I've been studying these years from the 340's to the late 450's for more than half my life and there's always a new fascinating element to learn about this period so whoever could broaden my perspective on this would be very welcome.
Fans of Tolkien, Sabaton, and the Walking Dead get extra points.
I am available Monday through Friday in the evenings eastern standard time for a video interview. I'll go ahead and say that the determining factor for whether I go ahead with you is if I can see that we could be good friends as time goes on, because I plan to keep writing on Eagle's End for the rest of my life I am trying to find a long-term partner.
