Budget: $25 – $50 USD
Writer working on a coming-of-age novella of roughly 50,000 words, needs a typist/editor. About 100 pages are transcribed and need copy-editing, another 30 are hand-written, and 10 or 15 in progress.
Tasks:
• Convert hand-written pages into typed text
• Proofread previously typed sections
• Edit for spelling, punctuation, and syntax
• Watch for consistency of temporal and geographic details
Ideal Skills and Experience:
• Be highly proficient in the English language and grammar
• Type with speed and accuracy
• Possess an editor's eye for good prose
