Editor / Proof Reader Needed
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
looking for an editor / proof reader to check over articles
the role will consist on checking 20 to 25 articles per day , each article will be around 500 to 600 words
this project will last around 3 months the things that need to be checked when proof reading are the following
Content Relevance
- Does the content/story fit the category it's intended for?
- Is the information provided relevant to the current crypto landscape?
Factual Accuracy
- Where necessary, are all statements backed by reliable sources?
- Are predictions and speculations clearly distinguished from facts?
Client's Project Mention
- If the article is supposed to mention a client's project, is it done seamlessly?
- Ensure the mention doesn't feel forced or overly promotional.
- When the coin is mentioned, it should be $COIN (or whatever is specifically specified)
Language & Tone
- Is the language professional and free of jargon?
- Does the tone align with the category of the content?
Grammar & Punctuation
- Ensure the content is free from grammatical errors.
- Check for proper punctuation and sentence structure.
Engagement Factor
- Does the content engage the reader?
- Is there a clear call to action, especially for promotional content?
Structure
- Does the article have a clear introduction, body, and conclusion?
- Are ideas and paragraphs logically organized and flow seamlessly?
- Ensure the use of headings, subheadings, and bullet points for better readability.
Keywords & SEO (Important)
- The heart of our content strategy. optimized articles = client visibility
- Approx. 1-2% of overall word count
- The keywords used should be highlighted in yellow for you to see easily
- Are the target keywords integrated naturally within the content?
- Check for keyword stuffing, and forced keyword phrases. it should enhance readability, not hinder it.
- If a writer struggles with keyword integration, provide specific examples of how they can seamlessly incorporate keywords into their content.
