Copy Edit Academic Article Nov 2021
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need someone to copy-edit a scientific article before submission to an academic journal. We have already run the text of the manuscript through an electronic grammar checking application. Although I am a native English speaker, the writing is not of uniform quality throughout the document. The main text is 11,600 words and is 29 pages of double spaced text. There are also several pages of tables but only the headers need to be check on these.
I will provide the article in a Microsoft Word file, and it is ready for copy editing (American English). Ideally, the file will have all the needed corrections made in the paper and returned within a couple of days (w/track changes). Some modifications will go awry because it is unclear what we mean in the original text or technical features unique to the economics discipline. This article is an original scholarship and should not be shared with others or posted in other places. I retain all copyrights to the article as it is my intellectual property.
