Content Operations Manager & Medical Editor for AI Health-Tech Content
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Summary
I’m a practicing physician, founder of a primary-care practice, and cofounder of an AI health-tech company. I generate a high volume of ideas, rough drafts, outlines, transcripts, and recordings related to precision medicine, lifestyle medicine, psychology, and AI in healthcare.
I’m looking for a Content Operations Manager & Medical Editor to take my raw material and move it forward—into polished, published content across multiple channels.
Important:
This is not a role for originating thought leadership from scratch.
I produce the core ideas and drafts. Your job is to refine, organize, repurpose, and ship them.
This is a long-term role (15–20 hrs/week) for someone who enjoys execution, editorial judgment, and building a repeatable content machine.
What You’ll Do
Own the content pipeline from idea → draft → edited → published
Maintain a content backlog and publishing cadence
Edit and refine drafts for clarity, flow, tone, and accuracy
Help structure and assemble a book on AI and precision lifestyle medicine
Repurpose long-form content into short-form assets (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram)
Write titles, hooks, summaries, and descriptions
Create and edit short video clips from existing recordings (Descript or similar; lightweight editing only)
Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to accelerate editing, repurposing, and research
Light medical research or citation support
What This Role Is Not
Not primarily about writing from a blank page
Not about generating ideas independently
Not a pure social media or graphic design role
This role is about execution, organization, editorial judgment, and shipping.
You’re a Great Fit If You…
Are an excellent English writer and editor
Have native or near-native English fluency (US / UK / Canada preferred)
Can translate complex medical or scientific ideas into clear, engaging language
Are organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple content streams
Enjoy working with AI tools as part of your workflow
Have experience with content publishing, books, or digital media
Are genuinely interested in health, medicine, psychology, AI, or personal development
Medical training is not required, but intellectual curiosity and respect for evidence are essential.
Logistics
Hours: 15–20 per week
Duration: Long-term (6+ months)
How to Apply
Please include:
1–3 writing or editing samples
A brief note on how you use AI tools in your writing or editing workflow
A short response to this question:
You’re given a rough draft, podcast transcript, or voice note. Briefly describe how you would turn it into:
• a book-ready section
• a LinkedIn post
• a short video clip
I’m looking for someone who wants to grow with this project, build durable systems, and take real ownership of getting ideas into the world.
